Code Of Conduct
Personal Presentation
- Apparel: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to wear Hearth and Home Handyman provided shirts/jackets, and will come prepared to show identification indicating that they are a Hearth and Home Handyman contractor.
- Personal Appearance: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to be clean-cut and neat in appearance
- Vehicle Identification: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to put a Hearth and Home Handyman provided company magnet on both front doors of their vehicle while working for Hearth and Home Handyman
- Shoe Covers: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to wear company provided shoe covers during all time that they work in a homeowner house
Worksite Cleanliness/Demeanor
- Job Site Tarping: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to tarp and cover as needed, all homeowner areas that are being worked on. They will be reimbursed for all tarping materials for all sites.
- After Work Cleaning and Cleaning Materials: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to carry a Hearth and Home Handyman provided cleaning material box and to thoroughly clean the work area prior to leaving the site.
Jobsite Demeanor
- No Smoking or Vaping: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors to refrain from smoking or vaping in the home or on the property of any home they’re working on.
- No Audible Music or Phone Activity: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to refrain from playing music on-site or engaging in personal phone calls in a homeowner’s residence. Should the Hearth and Home Handyman contractor choose to listen to music, it must be with personal earphones and not something that a homeowner can hear and that will disturb them in any way.
- Polite Demeanor: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to conduct themselves in a polite and respectful way at all times.
Policies
Photographic Records
Before and After Photos of every job: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to take before and after photos and to forward them to Hearth and Home Handyman staff with every job on the day that the work is started and completed.
Insurance
Insurance Certificates are Required: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to maintain their own insurance and to keep an updated record on file with Hearth and Home Handyman.
Background Checks
Criminal Background Checks: All Hearth and Home Handyman contractors agree to a criminal background check and depending on the findings understand that this may make them ineligible to provide services for Hearth and Home Handyman.
